The RELPro Dance Promotions Community Framework at The Dance Factory Tampa Bay

At The Dance Factory Tampa Bay, we believe dance is more than just steps—it's a journey of connection, growth, and giving back. That's why RELPro Dance Promotions has created our unique Community Framework, a structured pathway designed to cultivate well-rounded dancers who embody respect, skill, and genuine connection.

Our Community Framework is built on five progressive stages, guiding you through a holistic dance experience focused on proper dance culture, technique, form, and ultimately, serving and growing our vibrant community:

Stage 1: The Connected Level (Connection & History)

This initial stage is about more than just physical movement. It's an immersion into the culture and history behind the dance. We explore why the dance was created, understanding its origins to foster respect for tradition and ensure its essence is never forgotten. It's about forging a deep connection not just with the steps, but with the soul of the dance.

Stage 2: The Fundamentals Level (Foundational Technique)

As you progress, the Fundamentals Level focuses on mastering your basics and foundational technique. Regardless of your past experience or previous teachers, this stage emphasizes returning to the core elements. By solidifying these fundamentals, we ensure that dancers of all skill levels can connect and dance in harmony, building a strong, shared language on the dance floor.

Stage 3: The Confidence Level (Efficiency & Execution)

Here, the Confidence Level is about achieving efficiency and execution through consistent practice. By actively attending different events and dancing with partners of all levels, you'll refine your skills, build comfort, and gain the assurance needed to express yourself freely and effectively.

Stage 4: The Continuous Level (Evolving Dancer)

A true dancer never stops learning. The Continuous Level encourages ongoing growth by attending special workshops, festivals, and congresses, and learning from diverse instructors. This stage is dedicated to continuous evolution, ensuring your dance journey remains fresh, challenging, and endlessly enriching.

Stage 5: The Community Level (Giving Back & Leading)

The pinnacle of our framework, the Community Level is for those who have truly mastered the previous stages in a particular dance genre. These individuals embody the spirit of #DanceForCommunity by actively inviting new people into our community, bolstering human connection, and often aspiring to train and teach dance themselves. A Level 5 dancer is a genuine soul on the dance floor who connects and dances with everyone, regardless of their skill level, becoming a true community leader and a model for others.

We invite everyone who embraces this framework to look to our Community Level dancers as beacons of our shared values. Join us on this journey to grow, connect, and give back through the power of dance!

Here at The Dance Factory we are focused on a fun, but value-driven approach to dance instruction targeted at social dancing. We aim to give you not only a fun experience, but a community to be a part of as you grow as a social dancer. Join us and let's get you started!

HARITHA

A wide variety of genres under one roof with great, passionate instructors and great value-for-money subscription plans. I came to this studio when I couldn't lead a basic right turn in salsa without confusing my partner, and in less than three months was able to find my way on the dance floor with confidence. Very passionate about what they're doing and will help introduce you to a wonderful community of Latin dancers.
